I've got a forum software version upgrade to do first which I'll do at the weekend, if I find a couple of hours.

Was I too fair? or should I have just said "get the fuck out of here and spout off about PBI SISK's somewhere else"?

Gadge is really shit-stirring isn't he? And looking a tit in the process...
Anyway, I've deleted all the comments under the annoucement - my fault really, I should have locked it in the first place as it's a statement rather than an invitation to post!

Good plan on deleting the comments. I wouldn't say that Gadge is a "tit". I can think of a use for a tit (long as they come in pairs, and are a decent handful ;) ) However, I cant think of a use for Gadge.

I should have copied it here but it was basically a line from Gadge saying something like 'Oh, so we shouldn't be saying banned things here then?'
Hmmm, that doesn't sound right - it was more aggressive than that - perhaps Jay can remember it better!

Prick.

TBH, he and Yith can kick up as much fuss as they like. They only make themselves look stupid.

Edited it very slightly to:

Yith and Gadge are PBI forum mods, with the ability to moderate certain other areas

You gents OK with that?

Just got rid of the names from the 'other mods' list as they are very out of date (with Diggah and Major on there!).

Oh, now even better, Yith PMs me with this:

To be honest Steve I reckon the L96 though is something that when we originally made the list allowed of weapons should have been banned alongside armalites and RIS rails.

It really looks completely out of place in a WW2 game even when covered with scrim.

It should probably be considered carefully for removal from the allowed guns list.

I'd respond with something along the lines of "Yes, good point. We've been looking at this issue recently - as well as looking at AEG's with built-in 600 round Hicap magazines as it gives a massive advantage over those players who have to use 50 round Locap magazines. Sadly, this means you STEN will be banned as well"

See what response that gets.....

Someone tell Porta to get a grip. We REALLY dont need people to post stuff up about "I've got a mate who converted a Deac to Airsoft". I've canned it anyway, and i'll send him a PM.

Airsoft forums do get looked at by some interesting people, and we don't need to give the "guns am bad" brigade any more ammunition.....

Gadge:

I felt the same about the doughboys things.
Too many units and no attempt at trying to be cohesive.
I even suggested why not all badge up as 101st as US glider troops wore line infantry kit that way they could wear airborne or line kit and still wear the same inisingia and be historically accurate.
I dont know what it is with the US player base.
When you watch them play they attack in ones and two and get mullered, seems to be no team spirit.
I'm well up for training with KGSS when possible. BTW I'll most likely be playing an SS NCO for the PBI St Lo game if you guys are coming to that so I'll actually get a chance to play a game on your side.
As it is with any game that does have UK troops in I sort of have to play for PBI :)

[think]And these disparaging remarks from someone who is planning a US only game? Wonder if the US players feel the same about Gadge?[/think]
